John Bull for New Year

The maker of Khukri Rum, Nepal Distilleries, has begun marketing John Bull blended Whisky, a product the company says has the flavour of Scottish cellars. Nepal Distilleries, set up in 1959, was the first organised distiller In Nepal. John Bull is available in consumer packs of 180ml, 375ml and 750ml.

KATHMANDU (PR) - The Nepal Distilleries Pvt. Ltd. (NDL) launched John Bull Blended Whisky amid a function here Saturday with a view to cater the over-growing demand of the domestic market. The new product was launched after extensive research and development.

The whisky is produced under strict quality control so as to ensure the Scottish experience to the consumers who prefer quality whisky. Available in 750ml, 375ml and 180ml attractive packages throughout the kingdom. John Bull is the latest product of the distillery which produces Khukri XXX Dark Rum, Coronation Khukri Rum, Napoleon and Gaule.

NEPAL DISTILLERIES PVT. LTD. (NDPL) has launched John Bull blended Whisky to cater to the ever growing demand of the domestic market, it was stated in an NDPL Press release recently.

Nepal Distilleries Pvt. Ltd., is one of the leading spirits companies in Nepal. It has marketed John Bull after extensive research and development work.

John Bull could be an entirely new drinking experience to those who prefer Quality Whisky, the NDPL, expressed its hope in the Press release.

The Whisky is manufactured under strict Quality control to ensure the Scottish taste.

NDPL's present product line include such premium spirit brands as Khukri XXX Rum, Coronation Khukri Rum, Napoleon and Gaule. According to NDPL sources Khukri XXX Rum is estimated to command a big market share.

NDPL is the first distillery established in the organized sector in Nepal in the year 1959. The patent of its pot stills distillation goes back to the 1890's the press release added.
